He has worked in virtually every position available in the industry including country music DJ, Sports play-by-play announcer, Sports reporter, News reporter, News Director, Advertising salesman and copywriter, Radio commercial editor and producer, Syndicated Interview program host and Program Director, and Community Service writer, salesman, and coordinator. He is the proud father of three children and involved in his community as a school volunteer, and has been a youth soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball coach. He is a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and an Associate Member of the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties, and the Renton Chamber of Commerce. Vice President Sonja Schuett is a Seattle native who followed in her father George Fleming's footsteps and attended the University of Washington, where she studied Communications. She began her professional career in 1985 as a radio news reporter at several Seattle radio stations. She worked in radio also as a DJ, Music Director, Program Director, Voice talent, commercial producer, and community service salesperson. She moved to television as a Marketing Specialist at Fox KCPQ 13 Seattle for seven years and then occupied a Regional Marketing Director position for a Fortune 500 company. She also has experience working in retail and in human resources for the government of King County, WA. At one point she left her executive position to spend more time with her family. She is a volunteer in local schools, and with The Girl Scouts of America.
Total Broadcasting Service’s blue feather logo is an original design by Arica Schuett, inspired by the 1970’s novelette by Richard Bach, “Illusions”.
